Elliptical Training Reviews - A guide for home gyms

So you are wanting to get an elliptical trainer to train at home. The problem is that a lot of the elliptical training reviews are done by people with a vested interest in a particular brand and don't really address needs of the individual. This review is different, I'm only going to mention a few different brands simple because I've used them and I think they are the best quality and/or best value...period!

Elliptical training reviews often suggest that they are the best pieces of cardio equipment you could have in your home gym. Not only are they great for weight loss but they also offer both a upper and lower body workout and are low impact. They really are an all in one machine. Unlike a treadmill you can change the direction of motion and the amount of effort exerted by the upper or lower body by using your arms more or less.

Easily my favourite elliptical trainer is the Smooth CE. Smooth only produce one elliptical but don't let that put you off. Some of the benefits include:

For the price you pay you simply won't find a better deal!

I've also performing elliptical training reviews of other top quality brands including Precor (EFX 546 and EFX 544), Nordictrack (CX 998 and CX 990), Star Trac, Proform (1280s) and Life Fitness ellipticals. All of which I have used and highly recommend. Although they are all of a similar quality to the Smooth elliptical they are higher priced mainly because they are brand name manufacturers but also because they sell their home fitness equipment through dealers and hence you are charged sales tax when you buy. Smooth is factory direct so no sales tax applies.

Hopefully these elliptical training reviews have given you more of an idea on what elliptical trainer best suits your needs. Visit our buyers guide for a list of recommended online suppliers of Smooth and other elliptical machines.
