Octane Elliptical Review
Not everyone prefers the same features when it comes to trainers. That is why you should decide what features are the most important to you. Once you have decided what you want to look for in a trainer you can begin to shop. The octane elliptical offers a wide variety of trainers that meet many needs and preferences. The octane elliptical trainers are divided into two groups: home and gym. There are higher level trainers that are best for the serious exercisers and there are the lower end trainers that can have the same results but are better for the beginners.
Many fitness companies make a variety of exercise equipment. Octane, however, specializes in only trainers. Their prices range from about two thousand dollars to about four thousand dollars.
Most octane trainers look a lot alike. The biggest difference that is noticeable is that the Q35 and Q45 do not have wireless heart rate controls.
The Q35, Q35e and Q45 are very similar. They have a quick start and a quick change button. The quick change button allows you to change your workout with a quick click. They also have five course options, a "trainer" who can give workout advice and a cool down mode so you do not have a sudden stop to your workout.
The Q35e is different in that it has a quick start that can remember your past workouts and a wireless heart rate monitor. It also lets you choose between several different intensities.
The Q45 has a few more features even than the Q35 and Q35e. It has multi-grip handlebars and adjustable stride lengths. It also has a set program for an upper body workout.
The Q45e adds a few more features. It has five heart rate programs and a wireless heart rate monitor. It also has a cross training program.
There is also the Pro35. The Pro 35 is an advanced model trainer. The Pro35 has extras that makes the workout a bit more comfortable. The pedals are compacted. There is also an accessory tray to hold your water bottle or magazine.
The Pro350 is also an advanced model. This model includes twenty five or so resistance levels. It has a heavy frame that will support about 400 pounds. The heart rate sensors are digital on this model.
The Pro350XL is the elite of the elite. It has all the features of the above mentioned plus a longer stride length and thirty resistance levels rather than 25.
